Donna Wilson for the Whitney Museum of Modern Art

Donna was thrilled to create some very special edition Cuddly Cloud cushions for the prestigious  Whitney Museum of Modern Art in New York City, USA.

Six strikingly bright colours were chosen based on the surrealist painting La Fortune, 1938 by Man Ray which is part of the Whitney’s permanent collection.

The Whitney Museum is located in the trendy Meatpacking district, between the Hudson River and the spectacular High Line park. The new purpose built building (designed by Renzo Piano) is a must see with works by the great American contemporary artists such Jeff Koons, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol. We just had to have a nosey in the wonderful Museum shop to see the finished result.
