Wilbur Koala raises $2,987.24 AUS for WIRES

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising campaign last month to aid bushfire relief in Australia!

Those of you who purchased our special edition Wilbur Koala helped to raised a total of $2,987.24 AUS for WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.).

Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organisation, WIRES have been rescuing and caring for wildlife for over 30 years and their mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same.

While their work is usually concentrated on New South Wales, due to the national emergency WIRES will be allocating funding and support to all states and territories, providing assistance to wildlife nationwide – it’s estimated that around 1 billion animals have been affected by the bushfires.
