#donnasaysshopsmall – Lockdown Special #3
Here’s the third instalment of our Spring #donnasaysshopsmall update. Please support our stockists where you can, especially if they’re in your local area. It’s not just about making a purchase either – for small businesses, just a like, comment or share on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter goes a very long way.
The Longship in Orkney are one of our longest-standing stockists and the shop is part of a family-run business that’s been going since 1856, and owner Ingrid also founded her own label, Tait and Style, who Donna once designed for! Ingrid’s daughter Cara has been busy building an e-commerce website over the last few weeks, where you’ll find stock of our creatures plus some of our sold-out cushions, including the Craftsmen Book Cushion!
Really Well Made are a London-based, Scandinavian-influenced store selling furniture and home accessories. They’re mainly an online business, but they also have a showroom in South London that you can visit Monday to Friday (lockdown permitting!). They also have a great selection of our towels, cotton cushions and bed linen!
We’re not sure where from, but we definitely recognise the newest employee at DETAILS Produkte in Erstadt! He’s helping to keep their online store ticking over, where you’ll find several of our knitted creatures just waiting to find their new forever homes.
The delightfully named Honig Kuchen in Zurich have just reopened their doors. You’ll find our creatures, mini blankets, totes and towels in store, plus they have some lovely gifting packages online, including a ‘Get Well Soon’ bundle featuring our Finn Hot Water Bottles.
Inspired by a skiing trip to the Swiss Alps, Lou from Chalet at Home opened her first store in 2003. Now based in the Peak District, she’s just launched her first e-commerce website, where you’ll find a selection of our cushions, creatures and ceramics.
We’ll be continuing to shout out our local stockists over the next days and weeks. If you’d like a mention, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what you’ve got in stock – plus send over any photos you’d like us to share!
