Our hot water bottles are intended for warmth and comfort. A little care will help keep you warm and comfortable while ensuring your hot water bottle is used safely. Please follow these safety guidelines when using your hot water bottle.
Our rubber hot water bottles comply with BS 1970:2012. They are intended for personal warming only and are not intended for medical or therapeutic use. They have not been evaluated by the US FDA as a medical device.
Hot water can cause serious burns. Do not use boiling water; allow freshly boiled water to cool before filling. Fill slowly and upright to a maximum of two-thirds full. Expel excess air and securely tighten the stopper.
Always use with the cover provided and avoid prolonged direct contact with skin. Do not sit, lie or place excessive pressure on the bottle. Keep away from babies and young children; children should use only under adult supervision.
Hot water bottles naturally deteriorate over time. Please ensure rubber hot water bottles are replaced regularly. Guidelines recommend replacing them annually. Check the bottle, seams, and stopper before every use. Do not use if worn, cracked, damaged or deteriorated.
